Balancing high school life and phantom thief activities in Persona 5 requires managing time effectively while earning money and social stats. Working part-time jobs serves as a key system to boost stats like Charm, Proficiency, and Kindness while funding gear purchases. Following updates in daily gaming news often reminds players how critical stat management is for unlocking higher rank Confidants.
Convenience Store and Flower Shop Employment
The Triple Seven Convenience Store is located in Central Street, Shibuya, offering day shifts on any day of the week. Working here awards players with steady income and valuable boosts to Charm, especially when successfully memorizing barcode locations. It also triggers specific Mementos requests later in the game during mandatory shifts.
Situated in the Underground Mall of Shibuya, Rafflesia Flower Shop provides part-time employment during afternoon shifts. This job focuses heavily on boosting your Kindness stat when fulfilling custom floral orders for customers. Memorizing flower meanings enables Joker to satisfy picky buyers and receive bonus pay.
Beef Bowl Shop and Crossroads Bar Positions
Ore no Nako Beef Bowl Shop in Central Street offers night shifts on designated days to build Proficiency. Taking orders during rush hours tests your memory, but handling orders correctly yields higher pay and maximum stat increases. This job is also required to initiate Mementos targets connected to Yoshida's Sun Confidant.
Crossroads Bar in Shinjuku becomes accessible after unlocking night visits to the entertainment district and meeting Lala Escargot. Working evening shifts allows Joker to choose which social stat to increase based on the customer he serves. It provides substantial income and serves as a vital step for completing several Mementos requests.
Strategic Advantages of Working Part-Time
Beyond monetary gains, part-time jobs are essential for triggering specific side quests that cannot be accessed through normal exploration. Certain Confidants require specific stat thresholds or prerequisite job shifts before their story arcs can progress. Planning your schedule around job availability optimizes evening free time throughout the Tokyo calendar year.
